Dramatic Daycare is a unique, on-site childcare provision. We bring the good kind of drama to your office. All that’s needed is access to a large conference room and a toilet and we will take care of the rest.

Dramatic Daycare enables your parent employees to manage their career and childcare guilt and hassle free.

Parents can start and finish work flexibly to suit their schedule and needs, without having to worry about external pick ups or high childcare costs. Children will take part in meaningful drama activities all focused on building confidence, improving well-being and enhancing creativity.

Dramatic Daycare Process

1. Parents register their 5-12 year-olds for Dramatic Daycare.

2. Children attend the childcare during the hours their parents are at work.

3. Employers can rest assured that their employees’ childcare needs are sorted.

Why the need for daycare?

“There are approximately 62 days of [school] holiday a year, and the average employee holiday allowance is 25 days. The maths simply doesn’t add up.” CEO of Mother Pukka, 2021.

Why the need for company subsidised or free daycare?

Mumsnet and Pregnant Then Screwed conducted surveys in the summer of 2021 with 27,000 parents. Of working mothers surveyed, 43% were considering leaving their jobs and 40% were working fewer hours than they wanted to. Two-thirds said they were paying as much or more for their childcare than for their rent or mortgage.

Why the need for on-site childcare?

A 2010 Bright Horizons survey of 3,100 parents who had access to on-site facilities showed that they were able to concentrate better at work, were more likely to remain at a job, and could more effectively balance their work and family commitments.
